Former classmates at the Central Music School in Russia, cellist Konstantin Manaev and pianist Asiya Korepanova are joined by violinist Julia Smirnova for a chamber recital featuring exhilarating works by living composers of Europe and Asia, as well as all-time favorite masterpieces by giants Shostakovich and Mendelssohn. Both Konstantin Manaev and Julia Smirnova are artists of Teodor Currentzis' MusicAeterna orchestra debuting in New York the same week. Konstantin is the principal cellist of the orchestra.
